Terms of sale

All products sold by Uce Joose LLC are intended for laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. They are not for human or veterinary consumption or administration of any kind.

Nothing on this site describes what these materials do, how they are used, or what quantity is appropriate, and nothing we say by email or phone will either. We are a supplier. Determining whether a material is suitable for your work is yours to do.

You must be at least 21 to order, and you confirm that the first time you visit the site.

There is no account to create. You build an order on the site and submit it with an email address; that submission is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The sale is formed when we confirm the order by email.

There is no minimum order. All prices are in US dollars. We may decline any order, and we will say so rather than let it sit.

The catalog is the inventory. If something is listed, it is on the shelf. If a listing is wrong — a price mistyped, an item that sold out between your order and our reading it — we will contact you before anything ships and before any payment is treated as accepted.

We will not ship at an obviously wrong price and invoice you for the difference afterwards, and we will not keep money for something we cannot send.

Nothing is charged on this website. There is no payment processor here and no card field. After you submit an order we email you an order number and payment details, and you pay by Zelle, Wise, or crypto — all of which happen away from this site.

Payment is due within 24 hours of the order. An order still unpaid after that window is released and the stock goes back on the shelf. Nothing is owed and nothing is held against you.

No sales tax is added. Uce Joose LLC is not collecting sales tax at this time.

Shipping is a flat $9.00 on every domestic order, free on orders of $150.00 or more. Orders ship from San Pedro by USPS within 1–2 business days of payment being received, inside the United States only, with a tracking number emailed to you.

Risk passes to you when USPS takes possession of the package. From that point the shipment is in the carrier’s hands, and we are not liable for a package that is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit. Tracking is on every order so there is always a record of where it went, and we will help you chase it — but the transit itself is not something we control.

All sales final. We do not accept returns and we do not offer refunds or exchanges on a change of mind.

That is not the whole story, and the returns policy sets out the situations we will look at — a wrong item, a missing item, or a package that arrived damaged.

You are responsible for handling, storing, and using what you buy lawfully and safely, and for complying with every law and regulation that applies to you where you are.

You agree not to resell, redistribute, or transfer these materials for human or veterinary consumption of any kind, and not to represent them as approved for any such purpose.

We are responsible for sending you what you ordered, in the condition it left us. We are not responsible for what happens after that: how a material is stored, handled, or used, what results are obtained from it, or any loss that follows from those decisions.

Where we are liable, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute arising from them belongs to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when the text last changed.

We do not change terms retroactively, and we do not change them to get out of an order already placed.
